How GoPay integration at a merchant outlet works
At this stage you are integrating GoPay into your merchant outlet environment. For the implementation you can choose:
A certified solution supplier
This means using the solutions of certified suppliers, who already have the GoPay payment gateway implemented and verified according to our best experience and recommendations. This option does not require programming knowledge or testing of the solution.
Your own implementation
For your own integration you can use the GoPay REST API. You will find a detailed description of the integration in the article describing the payment gateway integration procedure.
Please note that the historical SOAP versions (V1, V2) cannot be used for integration, because they have not been updated for a long time, do not support standard functionality, are associated with errors and require the use of outdated library versions and PHP versions before 8.1.
A GoPay module
You can use GoPay payment modules / ready-made solutions for e-shop platforms. Below you will find a list of the payment module suppliers we recommend.

A GoPay test environment is available for verifying the implementation – a test GoPay account and a test GoPay payment gateway. All operations in the GoPay payment gateway test environment are carried out with fictitious money and you must prevent your customers from accessing the GoPay payment gateway test interface.
Once you have integrated the payment gateway using the API or a ready-made module, please test the payment gateway as described in the article making test payments at the payment gateway.
Checking the GoPay integration at the merchant outlet and sending the production credentials
You must inform GoPay technical support at [email protected] that testing of the integration in the GoPay test environment is complete. The correctness of the integration will then be checked.
We check whether the following have been done:

We check the placement of the GoPay logo with a link to www.gopay.cz from the homepage or the payment process of the merchant outlet. We also check that the card scheme logos (VISA, MasterCard and Maestro) and the 3D Secure logos (MasterCard Secure Code and Verified by VISA) are displayed. The merchant outlet has to meet all the requirements described in the relevant article.
Once the above requirements are met, the production credentials are sent to the registered contacts.
Switching to the GoPay production environment
Once the contract has been signed and the integration completed, you can proceed to switch to the production environment.
After the payment gateway is activated, we carry out a final check that it works with the production credentials.
We check whether the following have been done:
Activation of the payment gateway
The production credentials you have received (available in the GoPay business account in the Integration section) have to be entered into your technical solution in place of the test credentials, and the redirect to the production payment gateway has to be set up.
Then please make a trial payment, which does not have to be paid – just close the window using the cross symbol.
