You can account for Financing in a similar way to GoPay, i.e. in account class 2.
Which documents you will receive
When settlement is carried out, we will send you the Settlement document, which lists all the payments included in the settlement – both the payments received from your customers and the fees and instalments deducted by GoPay (transaction fees, loan instalments).
For all movements on the account (i.e. payments received and fees deducted) you will also receive a Statement of movements, which we send you automatically at the frequency you have set.
💡 GoPay tip: You will find the exact accounting procedure for GoPay in the article "How to account for GoPay".
How to account for it
For accounting, use the statement of movements, which you can obtain for the selected period in the required format (e.g. ABO, CSV, XLS) from your GoPay business account and which we also send to your e-mail with every settlement.
Using the statement you obtain, account for it as finances in account class 2, i.e. as for a standard bank account.
In practice, financing is not accounted for against specific transactions (invoices); instead the total sum is posted as a loan instalment, which is also quantified cumulatively on the statement sent to you.
