Has money been debited from your account and you do not know what for?
Keep a cool head and follow these steps:
1. Go through your bank statement and your e-mails and check whether you have placed an order on the internet recently
2. Make sure the order was not placed by someone in your family – your partner, children or other members of the household.
2. Make sure you do not have a recurring payment set up on the payment card. You may, for example, have ordered a free newspaper or television subscription and entered your card details when ordering, thereby agreeing to use the service even after the trial version ends.
If you have clarified where your payment came from, then everything is fine and you have nothing to worry about.
