So that we know we will be sending the money for received payments to your account and not to someone else's, we need to see a statement from your bank account and verify that you really are the account holder.
How does it work?
The customer care department or the sales department will ask you by email to provide a statement.
Reply to that email with a statement for the account you want the money for received payments sent to. The statement must be:
current (not older than the last 3 months)
the account number must match the number stated in the contract (registration form)
the bank account must be held by the entity that is entering into the contract with GoPay (a company or a sole trader).
If for some reason you cannot provide an account statement, it is enough to send a screenshot from your internet banking showing the account holder and account number. You can hide the balance.
In which situations do we ask for a statement?
when entering into a contract
when changing the bank account number
when requesting a new currency, if you want the foreign currency sent to a different account than, for example, crowns
