How do I activate QR payments in my GoPay business account?
QR payment is available automatically as soon as the "Bank transfer" payment method is enabled in your GoPay business account.
Does my GoPay payment gateway integration support QR payments?
QR payment will be available if your integration opens the payment gateway at the payment method selection and the customer does not choose a specific payment method in the basket. If the customer only chooses bank transfer in the basket but selects the specific bank at the payment gateway, QR payment will also be available. However, if the customer selects a specific bank in the basket, the integration may need to be adjusted for QR payment to display correctly. How quickly will I be notified about a successful QR payment?
You will receive confirmation of a successful QR payment within 5 seconds if the customer's bank supports instant payments. With some banks that do not support instant payments, there may be a delay of up to several hours.
Where do I find information about completed QR payments?
You will find information about successful QR payments in your GoPay business account in the transaction overview. You can also check each payment via the API or in the notification email we send you as soon as it is completed.
Where and when will the customer see the QR code payment option?
The customer sees the QR code payment option directly in the payment method selection at the GoPay payment gateway. If they choose bank transfer, QR payment will also be available in the list of banks. This way the customer always has easy access to this payment method.
Can I accept QR payments in a currency other than CZK?
Yes. QR payments are available for transactions in Czech crowns (CZK) and newly also in euros (EUR) for Slovak banks.
