Using the pre-authorised payment function

The GoPay payment gateway makes it possible to carry out a pre-authorised card payment. This function works very well, for example, for pre-orders of goods where stock availability may be reduced.

For the buyer, the payment is completely standard. The money in the client's account is blocked just as if the payment had been made. Depending on the availability of the goods, the merchant can then decide either to accept the payment, in which case the money is taken from the client, or to reject the payment, in which case the money in the client's account is unblocked.
