Paying with Apple Pay is similar to paying by card. The advantage is that you do not have to type in any card number or other details. To pay with Apple Pay, you need to make the payment from an Apple device and have a card saved in the Apple Wallet app.
How does paying with Apple Pay work in the payment gateway?
1. Once the payment gateway opens, select Apple Pay from the list of payment methods.
2. A page with further instructions appears, where you click the Apple Pay button.
3. Next, a page appears where you select a card saved in your Apple Pay settings.
4. In the next step you confirm the payment. If your phone supports Face ID, you can confirm the payment with the side button on your phone. If you are paying from a MacBook that supports Touch ID, you confirm the payment with your fingerprint. If you are paying from a device that does not support biometrics, you confirm the payment with a password.
5. Apple Pay shows a message that the payment is complete.
6. Finally, the payment gateway shows a green Done symbol. The payment has now been made successfully.
