The basic difference between the Redirect and the Inline payment gateway is that the paying customer is directed during the payment to a separate GoPay page, which is secured with a green SSL certificate and always starts with https://gate.gopay.cz/… The Redirect payment gateway is therefore not displayed over the pages of the merchant outlet but on a separate page with a grey background.
In all the types of gateway offered, the payment gateway can be configured so that the first step in the payment is always the selection of a payment method. A different gateway setting allows this step to be skipped if the payment method was selected on the merchant's side. It depends purely on the preferences of the given business situation.
Information about the selected payment method, the customer's e-mail, their name or delivery address can be passed to the payment gateway, saving the customer from filling things in again.
