Settlement settings in the GoPay business account

On the "Business accounts" tab in your GoPay account, under the "Settlement" sub-tab, the individual records of the settlements carried out are kept.

You can filter settlements by amount or date. A settlement can be identified by the settlement ID, the amount received, the total fee or the amount that will be paid out, the settlement date and the entity that sent the payment.

The settlement ID is always given as the variable symbol of the payment sent. This variable symbol can be used to match the bank payment to a specific settlement, even if the settlement is split into several payments.

The settlement detail is given under the "more" link. In the detail you can click the "Report" button to generate a PDF document, or click the "XML" button to have the settlement document generated in .xml format. The settlement document serves as an accounting document or a tax document from a non-VAT payer.

There you can choose the settlement frequency (daily, weekly, monthly) and the minimum amount for settlement (choose according to your own judgement). For example, if you choose CZK 10,000, the settlement will only be carried out once the minimum limit set has been reached.

Carrying out a settlement

You can also carry out the settlement manually, by clicking the "Carry out settlement" link. If you have the necessary balance on your business account and carry out a manual settlement, the volume of payments on your business account, less the fees stated in the registration form, will be sent to your bank account.

The settlement is carried out according to the rule of parameter D, which is shown on the first tab, "Detail". If, for example, you carry out the settlement on 1 April and the parameter is set to 3 days, the settled payments will be sent to your registered bank account with a 3-day delay, i.e. on 4 April. On the day of the settlement, the settlement document will also be sent to your contact e-mail.
